exteriorlightsanddashboard
illuminationwillturnoff.
Donotshadethelightsensorby

adheringastickeroralabelonthe
windshield.Otherwisethelight
sensorwillnotoperatecorrectly.
Thetimingforturningonthe
headlights,otherexteriorlightsand
dashboardilluminationcanbe
delayedbyadjustingthesensitivity
ofthelightsensor.Consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealerregarding
sensoradjustment.

Xenonfusionheadlightbulbsí
Thelow-beambulbsoftheheadlights
havexenonfusionbulbsthatproducea
brightwhitebeamoverawidearea.
Thelightsensoralsoworksasarain

sensorfortheauto-wipercontrol.
Whenthewiperleverisinthe
AUTOpositionandtheignition
switchisintheONposition,the
wipersmaymoveautomatically.Be
carefulnottopinchhandsorfingers
asitmaycauseinjury,ordamagethe
wipers(page5-50).
WARNING
XenonFusionBulbReplacement:
Replacingthexenonfusionbulbsby
yourselfisdangerous.Becausethe
xenonfusionbulbsrequirehigh
voltage,youcouldreceiveanelectric
shockifthebulbsarehandled
incorrectly.Donotreplacethexenon
fusionbulbsbyyourself.Consultan
AuthorizedMazdaDealerwhenthe
replacementisnecessary.
NOTE
Iftheheadlightsflash,orthebrightness
weakens,thebulb-lifemaybedepleted
andareplacementisnecessary.Consult
