The USB audio interface is in the center armrest.
To connect the device, use the special cable
adapter for the Apple iPod/iPhone, available
from your service center. The cable adapter is
required for a good connection.
At a glance
It is possible to connect external audio devices.
They can be operated on the iDrive. The sound
is output on the vehicle loudspeakers.

Ask your service center about suitable audio de‐
vices/mobile phones.

the USB audio interface and the USB device
against physical damage.
