Passive safety in the CLC
The safer you feel, the better you can appreciate
the drive. Which is one of the reasons the
CLC is such an enjoyable travelling companion.
Its carefully integrated passive safety systems
mean you’re well equipped to cope with tricky
situations – and well protected should the
worst come to the worst. An exceptionally
strong substructure and energy-absorbing
crumple zones mean the bodyshell offers
optimum protection in a collision. Dual-stage
front airbags, front sidebags and side window-
bags are all fitted as standard. And, to further
minimise the risk of injury, there are three-
point seat belts front and rear, featuring
effective pre-tensioners and force limiters.
