The new comfort suspension
The Viano has always been renowned for its dynamic, comfortable
and, above all, safe handling. The smooth and sure-footed drive
is thanks in no small part to its rear air suspension with electronic
self-levelling (optional on Viano Trend) and its Electronic Stability
Programme (ESP) with integrated Trailer Stability Assist. With
the latest-generation Viano, there’s also a newly developed comfort
suspension system featuring new spring and damper settings as well
as new wishbones and mountings. The benefits can be heard as well
as felt, courtesy of improvements in the ride comfort, lower noise
levels and reduced levels of tyre vibration.
The rear air suspension enhances ride comfort and enables the Viano to
maintain a virtually constant ride height even when heavily laden or towing
