Safety features of your vehicle
Push the rear portion of the control
switch, then seat cushion moves back-
ward and seatback returns to upright
position.
For easier passenger loading, if the rear
seat is in any forward position and the
rear door is opened, the seat will auto-
matically move to the rear position. The
seat will not move back to the original
position when the door is closed and
must be repositioned by the passenger if
desired.

Headrest
Do not continue to push the control
switch once the seat is moved to the far-
thest forward or rear positions. Doing
so may damage the related parts.
Additional switches for adjusting the
front passenger seat (if equipped)
The rear seat is equipped with headrests
in all the seating positions for the occu-
pant's safety and comfort.
The headrest not only provides comfort
for passengers, but also helps to protect
the head and neck in the event of a colli-
sion.
In some vehicles, additional switches are
provided to move front passenger seat
forward and backward (1), and adjust the
recliner (2) from the rear seats. The
switches are located on the rear seat
center armrest (B). Do not use these
switches while the front passenger seat
is occupied.
WARNING
Use extreme caution so that hands
or other objects are not caught in
the seat mechanisms while the seat
is moving.
Do not adjust the seat while wear-
ing seat belts. Moving the seat
cushion forward may cause strong
pressure on the abdomen.
