To Fasten Your Belt
It will also lock if you try to lean forward
too quickly. Check to  make sure that
the belt is properly locked and that the
belt is not twisted.
!
WARNING:
o When you fasten the seat belt, be
carefulnottolatchtheseatbeltin
buckles  of other  seat.  It's  very
dangerous and  you may  not be
protected by  the seat belt prop-
erly.
o  Do not unfasten the seat belt and
donotfastenandunfastentheseat
beltrepeatedlywhiledriving.This
couldresultinlossofcontrol,and
an accident causing death,  seri-
ous injury, or property damage.
o  Whenfasteningtheseatbelt,make
sure that  the seat belt  does not
passoverobjectsthatarehardor
can break easily.
NOTE:
Ifyouarenotabletopullouttheseat
beltfromtheretractor,firmlypullthe
belt out and release it. Then you will
beabletopullthebeltoutsmoothly.

Tofastenyourseatbelt,pullitoutofthe
retractor and insert the metal tab into
the buckle.  There will  be an  audible
"click"  when  the  tab  locks  into  the
buckle.
o  Make sure there is nothing in the
buckle. The seat belt may not be
fastenedsecurely.
The seat belt automatically adjusts to
the proper length only after the lap belt
is  adjusted  manually  so  that  it  fits
snugly around  your hips. If  you lean
forwardinaslow,easymotion,thebelt
will extend and let you move around.
If there  is  a sudden  stop or  impact,
however,thebeltwilllockintoposition.
