CRANKSHAFT, CAMSHAFT, PISTONS AND
CYLINDER BLOCK
Crankshaft rear oil seal - remove

Remove timing belt rear cover.
Remove flywheel/drive plate housing.
Remove fuel lift pump.
Remove cylinder head.
Remove sump, oil pick-up and drain pipes.
Remove oil filter head.
Remove brake servo vacuum pump.
1.
Remove 5 bolts securing rear oil seal housing
to cylinder block.

Remove and discard oil seal and housing.
Early engines:  Remove and discard ’O’ ring.
Remove and discard gasket.
