Aseriesoffivebeepswillbeheard.Thetonepatternwillrepeat
periodicallyuntiltheproblemandlightarerepaired.
Ifanyofthesethingshappen,evenintermittently,havetheSRSserviced
atanauthorizeddealerimmediately.Unlessserviced,thesystemmaynot
functionproperlyintheeventofacollision.

Important child restraint precautions
YouarerequiredbylawtousesafetyrestraintsforchildrenintheU.S.
andCanada.Ifsmallchildren(generallychildrenwhoarefouryearsold
oryoungerandwhoweigh40lb.[18kg]orless)rideinyourvehicle,you
mustputtheminsafetyseatsmadeespeciallyforchildren.Manystates
requirethatchildrenuseapprovedboosterseatsuntiltheyareeight
yearsold.Checkyourlocalandstateorprovinciallawsforspecific
requirementsregardingthesafetyofchildreninyourvehicle.When
possible,alwaysplacechildrenunderage12intherearseatofyour
vehicle.Accidentstatisticssuggestthatchildrenaresaferwhenproperly
restrainedintherearseatingpositionsthaninthefrontseatingposition.
Neverletapassengerholdachildonhisorherlapwhilethe
vehicleismoving.Thepassengercannotprotectthechildfrom
injuryinacollision.
Alwaysfollowtheinstructionsandwarningsthatcomewithanyinfantor
childrestraintyoumightuse.
