Manual Release of Fuel Filler Flap
Roof Flack
Removal:
The manual release knob is located
behind the right side trunk panel
and felt pad.
Use only those roof racks approved
by Mercedes-Benz to avoid damage
to the vehicle. Follow manufacturer's
installation instructions.
Fold wiper arm forward. Push pin (1)
and remove wiper blade.
In case the central locking system does
not release the fuel filler flap, pull the
manual release knob while
simultaneously opening the fuel filler
flap.
Installation:
Mount supports only between
markings on border of roof which are
visible when doors are opened.
Place wiper blade on wiper arm and
press in pin (1).
