The temperature selected with the
temperature selector is reached as
quickly as possible.
1, 12 Temperature Selector
Note:
The desired interior temperature can be
selected separately for the left and right
side of the passenger compartment.
If the Automatic Climate Control is in
the "Diagnosis Mode", turn key in
steering lock to position 0 to return it
to its normal operation.
The temperature selector should be left
at the desired temperature setting.
With the center air outlets open and the
system in heating mode, switch the
outlets to non-heated/ cooled air by
pressing the blue button (indicator lamp
lights up).
A basic setting in the white field of the
selector is recommended, and can be
used for driving year round.
5 Defrost
Maximum heated and automatically
controlled amount of air is directed to
the windshield and side windows.
As the engine coolant temperature
increases, the air volume is
automatically increased, thereby
defrosting as quickly as possible.
Open and direct air outlets (7) towards
the side windows.
The selected temperature can be shown
in the display window (2) in either °F
or °C.
With the center air outlets open and the
system in cooling mode, switch the
outlets to non-heated/ fresh air by
pressing the red button (indicator lamp
lights up).
3, 14 Automatic Mode
This is the normal setting.
The system will not heat or cool any
quicker by setting a higher or lower
temperature.
Air volume and distribution are
controlled automatically.

The automatic climate control only
operates with the engine running.
The automatic climate control removes
considerable moisture from the air
during operation in the cooling mode. It
is normal for water to drip on the
ground through ducts in the underbody.

Switch off,
(left and right side), or switch on.

button lights up). The indicator lamp

To quickly defog the inside of the
windshield, select the largest air
volume and air distribution button
