NAV menu
Distronic* menu
Distronic deactivated
When Distronic is deactivated you will see
the standard display in the left multifunc-
tion display.
The NAV menu contains the functions need-
ed to operate your navigation system.
Use the Distronic menu to display the cur-
rent settings for your Distronic system.
What information is shown in the left mul-
tifunction display depends on whether the
Distronic system is active or inactive.

Press button è or ÿ repeatedly
until you see the message NAV in the
left multifunction display.
Please refer to the “Driving systems” sec-
tion of this manual (୴ page 208) for in-
structions on how to activate Distronic.
The message shown in the multifunction
display depends on the status of the navi-
gation system:

Press button è or ÿ repeatedly
until you see one of the following two
pictures in the display.
1 Vehicle ahead, if detected
ț
When the navigation system is off, the
message NAV off appears in the multi-
function display.
2 Actual distance to vehicle ahead
3 Preset distance threshold to vehicle
ahead

When the navigation system is on, the
message HEADING appears in the left
multifunction display and the destina-
tion in the right multifunction display.
