Replacing the Wiper Blades
!
CAUTION:
o Do not operate the wipers on
dry glass since rapid wear and
damage to the windscreen glass
may result.
To remove the wiper blade
o Keep the blade rubber out of
contact with petroleum products
such as engine oil, petrol etc.
o When the wiper blade is freezed
in winter or the washer fluid
reservoir is empty, the wiper may
not operate for ten minutes.
This isn't a mechanical trouble
but the function protecting the
wiper by operating circuit
breaker inside of the wiper mo-
tor.

The wiper blades should be carefully
inspected from time to time and
cleaned to remove accumulations of
road film or other debris. To clean the
wiper blades and arms, use a clean
sponge or cloth with a mild soap or
detergent and water. If the wipers
continue to streak or smear the glass,
replace them with genuine Hyundai
replacement.

Raise the wiper arm and turn the
wiper blade assembly to expose the
plastic locking clip.
NOTE:
It is also important to ensure that
the windscreen is regularly cleaned/
degreased using a proprietary glass
cleaner.
