CAUTION:
If there is a malfunction of the
passenger's front airbag ON/OFF
switch,thepassenger'sfrontairbag
OFFindicatorwillnotilluminateand
the passenger's front airbag will in-
flateinfrontalimpactcrashesevenif
thepassenger'sfrontairbagON/OFF
switch is set to the "OFF" position.
If the passenger's front airbag OFF
indicator will not illuminate when
thepassenger'sfrontairbagON/OFF
switch is set to the "OFF" position,
have an authorized Hyundai dealer
inspectthepassenger'sfrontairbag
ON/OFF switch and the SRS airbag
system as soon as possible.
The SRS service reminder indicator
(SRI) comes on and flashes for about
seconds after the ignition key is
turned to the "ON" position or after the
engine is started, after which it will go
out.
Thepassenger'sfrontairbagOFFindi-
cator illuminates for about 4 seconds
after the ignition key is turned to the
"ON" position or after the engine is
started, and then it will go off in 3
seconds.
Thepassenger'sfrontairbagOFFindi-
cator also comes on when the
passenger'sfrontairbagON/OFFswitch
is set to "OFF" position and turns off
whenthepassenger'sfrontairbagON/
OFF switch is set to "ON" position.

ThislightalsocomesonwhentheSRS
is not working properly. If the SRI does
not come on, or continuously remains
on after flashing for about 6 seconds
when you turned the ignition key to the
"ON" position or started the engine, or
if it comes on while driving, have the
SRS inspected by an authorized
Hyundai Dealer.
