connectortopreventbatterydischarge
if your vehicle is parked without being
operatedforprolongedperiods.Usethe
followingproceduresbeforeparkingthe
vehicleforprolongedperiods.
Thefluidinthebatterycontainsastrong
solution of sulfuric acid, which is poi-
sonousandhighlycorrosive.Becareful
nottospillitonyourselforthecar.Ifyou
do spill battery fluid on yourself, imme-
diately do the following:
1. Turn off the engine.

Open the driver’s side panel cover
and pull up the power connector.
