Lockingdoors

The transmitter will not work if any of
followingoccur:
This system is designed to provide
protection from unauthorized entry into the
car.Thissystemisoperatedinthreestages
: the first is the "Armed" stage, the second
is the "Alarm" stage and the third is the
"Disarmed" stage. If triggered, the system
provides an audible alarm with blinking of
the turn signal lights.

Close all doors.
Pushthe"LOCK(1)"buttononthetrans-
mitter.
At the same time, all doors lock and the
turn signal lights will blink once to
indicate that the system is armed.

The ignition key is in ignition switch.
You exceed the operating distance
limit (10 m).

Thebatteryinthetransmitterisweak.
Other vehicles or objects may be
blockingthesignal.

The weather is extremely cold.
The transmitter is close to a radio
transmitter such as a radio station or
an airport which can interfere with
normal operation of the transmitter.

Push the "UNLOCK (2)" button on the
transmitter.

. At the same time, the driver's door
unlocks and the turn signal lights will
blink twice to indicate that the system is
disarmed.
Whenthetransmitterdoesnotworkcor-
rectly, open and close the door with the
ignition key. If you have a problem with
the transmitter, contact an authorized
Hyundai Dealer.
NOTE:
Ifyouwishtounlockallthedoors,press
the"UNLOCK"buttononthetransmitter
again within 4 seconds.
NOTE:
Keepthetransmitterawayfromwateror
anyliquid.Ifthekeylessentrysystemis
inoperative due to exposure to water or
liquids, it will not be covered by your
manufacturer vehicle warranty.
Releasing the trunk lid
Push the trunk lid release button (3) on the
transmitter for longer than 1 second.
HMR
Park the car and stop the engine. Arm the
system as described below.

Removetheignitionkeyfromtheignition
switch.
