use,storeitinthetrunkorkeepit
secured with a seat belt to pre-
ventitfrombeingthrownaround
incaseofasuddenstoporacci-
dent.
CAUTION
Rememberthatachildrestraintleft
inaclosedvehiclecanbecomevery
hot. Check the seating surface and
bucklesbeforeplacingyourchildin
thechildrestraint.

2. Route the seat belt tongue through the
childrestraintandinsertitintothebuckle
untilyouhearandfeelthelatchengage.Be
suretofollowthechildrestraintmanufac-
turer’sinstructionsforbeltrouting.

straint depends on the type of the child
restraintandthesizeofthechild.Always
