Manual Closing of Trunk Lid
Manual Release of Fuel Filler Flap
Rear Seat Cushion
The trunk lid can be closed manually
should a malfunction occur on the
power closing system.
The manual release knob is located
behind the right side trunk panel and
felt pad.
Removal: Push locking tabs (on left
and right side of seat) in direction of
arrow and pull up seat at the front.
Installation: Slide rear edge of cushion
under the backrest as far as it will go
and push front of cushion down until
seat locks in place.
With the trunk lid open:
In case the central locking system
does not release the fuel filler flap,
pull the manual release knob while
simultaneously opening the fuel filler
flap.
push sliding switch to position (1),
press eye of latch in (2),
Caution!
push sliding switch to position (3).
Close trunk lid.
Watch out for sharp edges when
removing or installing the rear seat
cushion, and make sure that it is
securely locked in place again, to
prevent injury.
