YourvehicleisequippedwithaVehicleHeadlampAimDevice(VHAD)
oneachheadlamp.Eachheadlampmaybeproperlyaimedinthevertical
(up/down)andthehorizontal(left/right)directionsusingyourVHAD
system.Theheadlampsonyourvehicleareproperlyaimedatthe
assemblyplant.
Abubble(verticalindicator)thatisnotcenteredbetweenthetwored
linesdoesnotnecessarilyindicateout-of-aimheadlamps.Ifyourvehicle
isnotpositionedonalevelsurface,theslopewillbeincludedinthe
verticalindication.Therefore,verticalandhorizontalheadlamp
adjustmentshouldbeperformedonlywhenthebeamdirectionappears
tobeincorrect.
Youwillneedone4mmwrenchorsockettomaketheadjustments.
Ifthevehiclehasbeeninanaccident,thevehicle’sfrontstructure
shouldbeproperlyalignedbeforeaimingtheheadlamps.
Horizontalaimadjustment
1.
Parkthevehicleonalevel
surface.
2.
Withthehoodopen,locatethe
horizontalindicatorandthe
adjustingscrew.Theyarelocated
belowtheviewingwindowatthe
rearoftheheadlampassembly.
3.
headlamprefertothedirectionalchange(leftorright)ofthehorizontal
aim.
The“L”and“R”undertheviewingwindowonthetopofthe

Usea4mmwrenchorsockettoturnthehorizontaladjustingscrew
untiltheforwardedgeoftheknurledportionofthescrewisalignedwith
the“0”referencemark(asshown)ontheplasticsliderwhenviewed
directlyfromabove.
