You should place the belt as low as possible on
yourhips,notonyourwaist.Iflocatedtoohighon
yourbody,thechancesofslidingoutfromunder
it and suffering  serious injury or death  are in-
creased. Both arms should not be under or over
thebelt.Rather,oneshouldbeoverandtheother
under, as shown in the illustration.
Theseatbeltisreleasedbypressingtherelease
buttoninthelockingbuckle.Whenitisreleased,
the belt should automatically draw back into the
retractor.
Ifthisdoesnothappen,checkthebelttobesure
it is not twisted, then try again.

To fasten a 2-point  static type belt,  insert the
metaltabintothelockingbuckle.Therewillbean
audible"click"whenthetablocksintothebuckle.
Check to make sure the belt is properly locked
and that the belt is not twisted.
