For the cigarette lighter to work, the
key must be in the "ACC" position or
the "ON" position.

Right-Hand Drive
To use the cigarette lighter, push it all
the way into its socket. When the
element has heated, the lighter will
pop out to the "ready" position.
Donotholdthecigarettelighterpressed
in. This can damage the heating ele-
ment and create a fire hazard.
If it is necessary to replace the ciga-
rettelighter,useonlyagenuineHyundai
replacement or its approved equiva-
lent.

The front ashtray may be opened by
pushingandreleasingtheashtray/ciga-
rette lighter door at its top edge.
To remove the ashtray to clean it, the
metal ash receptacle should be re-
moved from the ashtray door. Do not
attempt to remove the entire ashtray
door assembly or damage will result.

The instrument panel lights can be
made brighter or dimmer by turning
theinstrumentpanellightcontrolknob.
