To memorize driving position
To activate the memorized posi-
tion
Reverse Parking Aid Function
1.
Place the shift lever into "P" while
the ignition switch is ON.
1. Place the shift lever into "P" while
the ignition switch is ON.

. Adjust the driver's seat and steering
wheel column (with electric tilt and
telescopic type) to the desired posi-
tion.

Whenyoupushbutton"1"or"2",the
drivingpositionwillbeautomatically
adjustedtothepositionrecordedfor
that button.
3.
Push the "SET" button on the I.M.S
until the signal beeps.
4.
Withinfiveseconds,pushbutton"1"
or "2" until the signal beeps twice.
The beep sounds mean that the po-
sitions are memorized in the I.M.S.

CAUTION:
Inthefollowingconditions,theI.M.S
will not activate.

While the vehicle is moving backward,
theoutsiderearviewmirror(s)willmove
downwardtoaidreverseparkingsafely.
Accordingtothepositionoftheoutside
rearview mirror switch knob, the out-
side rearview mirror(s) will operate as
follows.

1. Whenthekeyisinthe"OFF"posi-
tion.
2. Whenthevehicleisrunningabove
3 km/h.
CAUTION:
Inthefollowingconditions,theI.M.S
will not memorize.
