Activatingthecode
Yourdealerwillhavecorrectlyactivatedthe
securitycodebeforeyoutookdeliveryofthe
vehicle.Thisisconfirmedwheneveryou
switchtheunitonby’CODE’appearing
BRIEFLYinthedisplay.
Toreducetheriskoftheft,RangeRover
radio/cassetteandCDplayersare
programmedwithafourdigitsecuritycode.
Onceactivated,thiscodepreventstheunit
fromfunctioningifitisillegallyremoved
fromthevehicle.Thereare10,000different
codes-makingyourradioequipment
valuelesstoathiefunlesshehasthecorrect
one.Inaddition,eachunitisfurther

numberisalsostampedintothemetalside
oftheunitand,intheeventoftheft,would
confirmproofofownership.
