Ifyoupressthepowerdoorlockswitchwhilethekeyis
in the ignition, and any front door is open, the power
locks will not operate. This prevents you from acciden-
tallylockingyourkeysinthevehicle.Removingthekey
or closing the door will allow the locks to operate. A
chimewillsoundifthekeyisintheignitionswitchand
adoorisopen,asaremindertoremovethekey.
TheAutomaticDoorLockscanbeenabledordisabledby
performingthefollowingprocedure:
switch.1. Close all doors and place the key in the ignition 2
2. CycletheignitionswitchON/OFFfourtimesending
intheOFFposition.(donotstarttheengine)
Ifyoupressthepowerdoorlockswitchwhilethesliding
doorisopen,theslidingdoorwilllock.
3. Within10secondsofthefinalcycle,presstheinterior
driver’sdoorlockswitchtotheLOCKposition.

successfullycompletedtheprogramming.
