Thepointershowstheleveloffuelinthefueltankwhen
theignitionswitchisintheONposition.

shouldstopandcheckyourtiresassoonaspossible,and
inflatethemtotheproperpressure.Drivingonasignifi-

canleadtotirefailure.Under-inflationalsoreducesfuel
efficiencyandtiretreadlife,andmayaffectthevehicle’s
handlingandstoppingability.

Each tire, including the spare (if provided),
should be checked monthly when cold and
inflatedtotheinflationpressurerecommended
by the vehicle manufacturer on the vehicle
placard or tire inflation pressure label. (If your vehicle
hastiresofadifferentsizethanthesizeindicatedonthe
vehicleplacardortireinflationpressurelabel,youshould
determine the proper tire inflation pressure for those
tires.)
PleasenotethattheTPMSisnotasubstituteforproper
tire maintenance, and it is the driver’s responsibility to
maintaincorrecttirepressure,evenifunder-inflationhas
notreachedtheleveltotriggerilluminationoftheTPMS
lowtirepressuretelltale.
3. LowFuelLight
When the fuel level reaches approximately 3.0
gallons (11.0 liters) this light will turn on and
remainonuntilfuelisadded.
As an added safety feature, your vehicle has been
equippedwithatirepressuremonitoringsystem(TPMS)
thatilluminatesalowtirepressuretelltalewhenoneor
