Thegrosscombinationweightrating(GCWR)isthetotal
permissible weight of your vehicle and trailer when
weighed in combination. (Note that GCWR ratings in-
clude a 68 kg (150 lbs) allowance for the presence of a
driver).
GrossVehicleWeightRating(GVWR)
TheGVWRisthetotalallowableweightofyourvehicle.
This includes driver, passengers, cargo and tongue
weight.Thetotalloadmustbelimitedsothatyoudonot
exceedtheGVWR.
GrossAxleWeightRating(GAWR)
TheGAWRisthemaximumcapacityofthefrontandrear
axles. Distribute the load over the front and rear axles 5
evenly.Makesurethatyoudonotexceedeitherfrontor
rearGAWR.
GrossTrailerWeight(GTW)
Thegrosstrailerweight(GTW)istheweightofthetrailer
plustheweightofallcargo,consumablesandequipment
(permanentortemporary)loadedinoronthetrailerinits
