The tailgate is released and can be
opened manually.
You can unlock the tailgate from the
third-row seats and then open it manually.

The handle is located on the right of the
tailgate’s window trim.
If you do not open the tailgate within a
few seconds, the tailgate lock will auto-
matically engage again.
