Disconnecting the batteries

Always disconnect the batteries in the order
and precautions (୴ page 290).
With a disconnected battery
described below, even if you only want to charge
the starter battery, for example. Otherwise the
vehicle’s electronics can be damaged.
̈ Open the luggage cover in the trunk
