Even when stranded, the C-Class still comes to your aid
Greater post-crash safety and easier rescue
measures designed to reduce the knock-on effects of a
collision and facilitate the work of the emergency services.
Depending on the type and severity of the impact, these
can include automatically switching off the engine and
cutting off the fuel supply, turning on the hazard warning
lights and emergency cabin lighting, lowering the side
windows slightly if necessary, and automatically unlock-
ing the central locking. A special rescue guide developed
