When ATTENTION ASSIST (Y page 193) is
activated, theÀ  symbol appears in the
multifunction display when the ignition is on.

Introduction
Activating/deactivating Blind Spot
Assist
You can use theBlind Spot Asst. function
to activate or deactivate Blind Spot Assist
(
Y page 194).
X Press the=  or;  button on the
steering wheel to select theDriveAssist
menu.
X Press the9  or:  button to select
Blind Spot Asst..
In theSettings menu, you have the following
options:
RChanging the instrument cluster settings
RChanging the lighting settings
RChanging the vehicle settings
RChanging the convenience settings
RRestoring the factory settings
X Pressa.
The current selection is displayed.
X To activate/deactivate: pressa
again.

Selecting the unit of measurement for
distance
Maintenance menu
TheDisplay Unit Speed-/Odometer:
function allows you to choose whether
certain displays appear in km/h or mph.
The selected unit of measurement for
distance applies to:
Rthe digital speedometer in theTrip   menu
Rthe odometer and the trip odometer
Rthe trip computer
Rthe navigation instructions in theNavi
menu
In theServ.  menu, you can:
Rcall up display messages (Y page 213)
Rrestart the tire pressure loss warning
system (Canada only) (Y page 309)
Rcheck the tire pressure electronically (USA
only) (Y page 311)
Rcall up the service due date (Y page 277)
RDISTRONIC PLUS
X Press the=  or;  button on the
steering wheel to select theSettings
menu.
X Press the: or9 button to select the
Instr. Cluster submenu.
X Press thea  button to confirm.
