about3secondsandgoesout.

tothefollowingtwoconditions:(1)
thisdevicemaynotcauseharmful
interference,and(2)thisdevicemust
acceptanyinterferencereceived,
includinginterferencethatmaycause
undesiredoperation.
Iftheenginedoesn'tstartwiththecorrect
ignitionkey,andthesecurityindicator
lightkeepsilluminatingorflashing,the
systemmayhaveamalfunction.Consult
anAuthorizedMazdaDealer.

ofIndustryCANADA.Operationis
subjecttothefollowingtwo
conditions:(1)thisdevicemaynot
causeinterference,and(2)this
devicemustacceptanyinterference,
includinginterferencethatmaycause
undesiredoperationofthedevice.
NOTE
Ifthesecurityindicatorlightcomes

onandstaysonwhentheignition
switchisturnedtotheONposition,
theenginewillnotstart.
SignalsfromaTVorradiostation,or
l
fromatransceiveroramobile
telephone,couldinterferewithyour
immobilizersystem.Ifyouareusing
theproperkeyandyourenginefails
tostart,checkthesecurityindicator
light.Ifitisflashing,removethe
ignitionkeyandwait2secondsor
more,thenreinsertitandtrystarting
theengineagain.Ifitdoesn'tstart
after3ormoretries,contactan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.

Arming
Thesystemisarmedwhentheignition
switchisturnedfromtheONtotheACC
position.
Thesecurityindicatorlightinthe
instrumentpanelflashesevery2seconds
untilthesystemisdisarmed.
Ifthesecurityindicatorlightflashes
l
continuouslywhileyouaredriving,
don'tshutofftheengine.Gotoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealerandhave
itchecked.Ifyoushutofftheengine
whilethelightisflashingyouwon't
beabletorestartit.
