Theft-DeterrentSystemí
Thetheft-deterrentsystemisdesignedto
preventyourvehicleoritscontentsfrom
beingstolenwhenbothdoors,hood,and
trunklidarelocked.
Ifthesystemistriggeredagain,thelights
andhornwillactivateuntiladooris
unlockedorthetrunklidisopenedwith
thekeyorwiththetransmitter.

Thelightsandhorncanalsobe
Ifforcibleentryisattempted,thesystem
soundsthehornandflashesthehazard
warninglights.

Thesystemoperatesonlywhenthe
driverisinthevehicleorwithin
operationalrangewhiletheadvanced
keyisbeingcarried.
2. Makesurethehoodandthetrunklid
areclosed.Closeandlockbothdoors
fromtheoutsideusingthekey.Ifyou
havethekeylessentrysystem,press
thelockbuttononthetransmitter.

Thesystemwillnotfunctionunless

Pressarequestswitchonthedoorsor
thelockbuttononthetransmitter.
itisproperlyarmed.Toproperly
securethevehicle,alwaysmakesure
bothwindowsarecompletelyclosed
andbothdoorsandthetrunklidare
lockedbeforeleavingthevehicle.
Remembertotakeyourkeyand
transmitter.
Thehazardwarninglightswillflash
oncetoindicatethatthesystemis
armed.
Thefollowingmethodwillalsoarmthe
theft-deterrentsystem:
Closethehoodandthetrunklid.Press
theareaonthedoor-lockswitch
marked“LOCK”once.Closeboth
doors.

hazardwarninglightsflashforabout25
secondswhenthesystemistriggeredby
anyoneofthefollowing:
