Warninglightsandgaugescanalertyoutoavehicleconditionthatmay
becomeseriousenoughtocauseexpensiverepairs.Awarninglightmay
illuminatewhenaproblemexistswithoneofyourvehicle’ sfunctions.
Manylightswillilluminatewhenyoustartyourvehicletomakesurethe
bulbworks.Ifanylightremainsonafterstartingthevehicle,have
therespectivesysteminspectedimmediately.

ensurethesystemisfunctional.Ifit
comesonaftertheengineisstarted,
oneoftheengine’semissioncontrol
systemsmaybemalfunctioning.Thelightmayilluminatewithouta
driveabilityconcernbeingnoted.Thevehiclewillusuallybedrivableand
willnotrequiretowing.

withhighqualityfueloftherecommendedoctaneand/orproperly
installingandsecurelytighteningthefuelcap.Afterthreedrivingcycles
withouttheseoranyothertemporarymalfunctionspresent,the
lightshouldturnoff.(Adrivingcycleconsistsofacoldenginestartup
followedbymixedcity/highwaydriving.)Noadditionalvehicleserviceis
required.
