Enginemisfireisoccurringwhichcoulddamageyourcatalyticconverter.
Youshoulddriveinamoderatefashion(avoidheavyaccelerationand
deceleration)andhaveyourvehicleservicedatthefirstavailable
opportunity.
Underenginemisfireconditions,excessiveexhausttemperatures
coulddamagethecatalyticconverter,thefuelsystem,interior
floorcoveringsorothervehiclecomponents,possiblycausingafire.
Check fuel cap
Illuminateswhenthefuelcapisnot
installedcorrectly.Checkthefuel
capforproperinstallation.When
thefuelfillercapisproperly
re-installed,thelight(s)willturnoff
afteraperiodofnormaldriving.
Continuingtooperatethevehiclewiththecheckfuelcaplighton,ora
mis-installedfuelcapcanactivatetheServiceEngineSoon/Check
Enginewarninglight.
Itmaytakealongperiodoftimeforthesystemtodetectan
improperlyinstalledfuelfillercap.
