An ISOFIX-child-seat can only be installed if
the seat has a vehicle-specific approval ac-
cordingtoECE-R44.BeforeusingtheISOFIX-
child-seat,whichwasboughtforanothercar,
ask your Hyundai-dealer whether this seat-
typeisapprovedandrecommendedforyour
Hyundai.

ISOFIX is a standardised method of fitting child
seats that eliminates the need to use the stan-
dard adult seat belt to secure the seat in the
vehicle. This enables a much more secure and
positivelocationwiththeaddedbenefitofeasier
andquickerinstallation.

On each side of the rear seat, between the
cushionandbackrest,arelocatedapairofISOFIX
anchoragepointstogetherwithatoptethermount-
ing on the luggage compartment. During the
installing, the seat has to be engaged at the
anchorage-points in a way you can hear it click-
ing(checkbypulling!)andhastobefixedwiththe
Top Tether-belt on the belonging point in the
luggage-compartment.Theinstallingandtheuse
of a child-seat has to be done according to the
installing-manual,whichisaddedtotheISOFIX-
seat.

1. To engage the child restraint seat to the
ISOFIXanchor,insertthechildrestraint seat
latch into the ISOFIX anchor. Listen for the
audible "click" sound.
2. Connect the tether strap hook to the child
restraint hook holder and tighten to secure

An ISOFIX-seat can only be installed if it has
vehicle-specificapprovalinaccordancewiththe
requirements of ECE-R44. For your Hyundai,
theHyundaiISOFIXGR1/HyundaiDuo/Römer
ISOFIXGR1andtheRömerDuoISOFIX/Britax
Duo ISOFIX is approved according to the re-
quirement ECE-R44. This seat has been tested
extensivelybyHyundaiandisrecommendedfor
yourHyundai.
