turnedon.
Aseriesoffivebeepswillbeheard.Thetonepatternwillrepeat
periodicallyuntiltheproblemand/orlightarerepaired.
Ifanyofthesethingshappen,evenintermittently,havetheSRSserviced
atyourauthorizeddealerimmediately.Unlessserviced,thesystemmay
notfunctionproperlyintheeventofacollision.
Disposal of airbags and  airbag equipped vehicles
(including pretensioners)
Seeyourauthorizeddealer.AirbagsMUSTBEdisposedofbyqualified
personnel.

Seethefollowingsectionsfordirectionsonhowtoproperlyusesafety
restraintsforchildren.AlsoseeAirbagsupplementalrestraintsystem
(SRS)inthischapterforspecialinstructionsaboutusingairbags.
WARNING:Rear-facingchildseatsorinfantcarriersshould
neverbeplacedinfrontofanactivepassengerairbag.
WARNING:Alwaystransportchildren12yearsoldandunderin
thebackseatandalwaysuseappropriatechildrestraints.
Accidentstatisticsindicatethatchildrenaresaferwhenproperly
restrainedintherearseats.
WARNING:Donotleavechildren,unreliableadults,orpets
unattendedinyourvehicle.
WARNING:Safetybeltsandseatscanbecomehotinavehicle
thathasbeenclosedupinsunnyweather,theycouldburna
smallchild.Checkseatcoversandbucklesbeforeyouplaceachild
anywherenearthem.
