Second stage: Checking tire pressure
Checktheairpressureofyourtiresasfollows:

Removethevalvecapfromthetirevalve.
Unhooktheblackhosefromthesideofthecompressorandfasten
firmlyonthevalvestembyturningclockwise.
WARNING:IfyouareproceedingfromtheFirststage:
Reinflatingthetirewithsealingcompoundandairsection
andhaveinjectedsealantinthetireandthepressureisbelow20psi
(1.4
bar),stopandcallroadsideassistance.Iftirepressureis
above20psi(1.4bar),continuetothenextstep.

Turnthedialclockwisetotheairposition.Turnonthekitbypressing
thecontrolbutton.
4.
Adjustthetiretothe
recommendedinflationpressure
fromthetirelabellocatedonthe
driver’sdoorordoorjamarea.
Note:Thetirepressurehastobe
checkedwiththecompressorinthe
OFFpositiontogetthecorrecttire
pressurereading.
5.
Turnthecompressoroffby
pressingdownonthecontrol
button.
6.
Unplugthehoses,re-installthevalvecaponthetireandreturnthe
kittothestowagearea.
WARNING:Thepowerplugmaygethotafteruseandshould
behandledcarefullywhileunplugging.
What to do after the tire has been sealed
Afterusingthetemporarymobilitykittosealyourtire,youwillneedto
replacethesealantcanisterandcleartube(hose).Sealingcompound
andsparepartscanbeobtainedandreplacedatanauthorizedFord
MotorCompanydealershiportiredealer.Emptysealantbottlesmaybe
disposedofathome;however,liquidresiduefromthesealingcompound
shouldbedisposedbyyourlocalFordMotorCompanydealershiportire
dealer,orinaccordancewithlocalwastedisposalregulations.
