toactivatethealarm.Pressthecontrolagain,orturnthe
ignitiontotheonpositiontodeactivate.
Note:Thepanicalarmwillonlyoperatewhentheignitionisintheoffor
accessoryposition.
Opening the luggage compartment
Press
oncetoopentheluggagecompartment.Note:Thisfeature
willonlyoperatewiththeignitionintheoffortheaccessoryposition.

Ensurethatthetrunkisclosedandlatchedbeforedrivingyour
vehicle.Failuretoproperlylatchthetrunkmaycauseobjectstofall
outorblockthedriver’srearview.
Replacing the battery
Theremoteentrytransmitterusesonecointypethree-voltlithium
batteryCR2032orequivalent.
Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinbetweenthetwo
halvesoftheremoteentry
transmitternearthekeyring.DO
NOTTAKETHERUBBERCOVER
ANDCIRCUITBOARDOFFTHE
FRONTHOUSINGOFTHE
REMOTEENTRYTRANSMITTER.
2.
Donotwipeoffanygreaseonthe
batteryterminalsontheback
surfaceofthecircuitboard.
3.
Removetheoldbattery.
Note:Pleaserefertolocal
regulationswhendisposingof
transmitterbatteries.
4.
Insertthenewbattery.Referto
thediagraminsidetheremoteentry
transmitterforthecorrect
orientationofthebattery.Pressthebatterydowntoensurethatthe
batteryisfullyseatedinthebatteryhousingcavity.
