Drivingwithasparetireonthefront
(driving)wheelsoniceorsnowis
dangerous.Handlingwillbeaffected.
Youcouldlosecontrolofthevehicle
andhaveanaccident.Putthespare
tireontherearaxleandmovea
regulartiretothefront.
ØWhenusingthetemporaryspare
tire,drivingstabilitymaydecrease
comparedtowhenusingonlythe
conventionaltire.
Drivecarefully.
ØToavoiddamagetothetemporary
sparetireortothevehicle,observe
thefollowingprecautions:
Ø Donotexceed80km/h(50
mph).
Ø Avoiddrivingoverobstacles.
Also,donotdrivethroughan
automaticcarwash.Thistire's
diameterissmallerthana
conventionaltire's,sothe
groundclearanceisreduced
about25mm(1in).
Ø Donotuseatirechainonthis
tirebecauseitwon'tfit
properly.
Ø Donotuseyourtemporary
sparetireonanyothervehicle;
ithasbeendesignedonlyfor
yourMazda.
Ø Useonlyonetemporaryspare
tireonyourvehicleatthesame
time.
Ø(Withlimitedslipdifferential)
Whenusingthetemporaryspare
tireonthefrontaxle,replaceit
withastandardtireassoonas
possible.Thesizedifference
betweenthespareandthe
standardtirewillcausethelimited
slipdifferentialtomalfunction.
NOTE
(WithTirePressureMonitoringSystem)
Atirepressuresensorisnotinstalledtothe
temporarysparetire.Thewarninglightwill
flashcontinuouslywhilethetemporaryspare
tireisbeingused(page5-28).
