Usingoneseatbeltformorethanonepersonatatimeisdangerous.Aseatbelt
usedinthiswaycannotspreadtheimpactforcesproperlyandthetwopassengers
couldbecrushedtogetherandseriouslyinjuredorevenkilled.Neveruseonebeltfor
morethanonepersonatatimeandalwaysoperatethevehiclewitheachoccupant
properlyrestrained.
CAUTION
Aseatbeltorchild-restraintsystemcanbecomeveryhotinaclosedvehicleduring
warmweather.Toavoidburningyourselforachild,checkthembeforeyouoryour
childtouchesthem.
NOTE
YourMazdaisequippedwithLATCHloweranchorsforattachmentofspeciallydesignedLATCH
child-restraintsystemsintherearseat.Whenusingtheseanchorstosecureachild-restraintsystem,
referto“LATCHChild-RestraintSystems”(page2-35).
