Werecommendthattowingbedoneonly
byanAuthorizedMazdaDealerora
commercialtow-truckservice.
Properliftingandtowingarenecessaryto
preventdamagetothevehicle.
Governmentandlocallawsmustbe
followed.
Atowedvehicleusuallyshouldhaveits
drivewheels(frontwheels)offthe
ground.Ifexcessivedamageorother
conditionspreventthis,usewheeldollies.
CAUTION
Donottowwithsling-type
equipment.Thiscoulddamageyour
vehicle.Usewheel-liftorflatbed
equipment.
Wheel dollies
Whentowingwiththerearwheelsonthe
ground,releasetheparkingbrake.
Iftowingserviceisnotavailableinan
emergency,thevehiclemaybetowed
withallfourwheelsonthegroundusing
thetowinghookatthefrontofthe
vehicle.
Onlytowthevehicleonpavedsurfaces
forshortdistancesatlowspeeds.
