whichcouldcauseblindnessifsplashedintoyoureyes.Also,hydrogengasproduced
duringnormalbatteryoperation,couldigniteandcausethebatterytoexplode.
Weareyeprotectionandprotectiveglovestopreventcontactwithbattery
fluid:
Spilledbatteryfluidisdangerous.
BatteryfluidcontainsSULFURICACIDwhichcouldcauseseriousinjuriesifitgetsin
eyes,skinorclothing.Ifthishappens,immediatelyflushyoureyeswithwaterfor15
minutesorwashyourskinthoroughlyandgetmedicalattention.
Alwayskeepbatteriesoutofthereachofchildren:
Allowingchildrentoplaynearbatteriesisdangerous.Batteryfluidcouldcause
seriousinjuriesifitgetsintheeyesorontheskin.
Donotallowthepositive( )terminaltocontactanyothermetalobjectthat
couldcausesparks:
Flamesandsparksnearopenbatterycellsaredangerous.Hydrogengas,produced
duringnormalbatteryoperation,couldigniteandcausethebatterytoexplode.An
explodingbatterycancauseseriousburnsandinjuries.Whenworkingneara
