Inspectthefluidlevelinthereservoir
regularly.ItshouldbekeptatMAX.
Thelevelnormallydropswith
accumulateddistance,acondition
associatedwithwearofbrakeandclutch
linings.Ifitisexcessivelylow,havethe
brake/clutchsysteminspectedbyan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Spilledbrakefluidisdangerous.Ifit
getsinyoureyes,theycouldbe
seriouslyinjured.Ifthishappens,
immediatelyflushyoureyeswith
waterandgetmedicalattention.
Brakefluidspilledonahotengine
couldcauseafire.
Ifthebrake/clutchfluidlevelislow,
havethebrakesandclutchinspected:
Lowbrake/clutchfluidlevelsare
dangerous.Lowlevelscouldsignal
brakeliningwearorabrakesystem
leak.Yourbrakescouldfailand
causeanaccident.
Ifthefluidlevelislow,addfluiduntilit
reachesMAX.
Beforeaddingfluid,thoroughlycleanthe
areaaroundthecap.
CAUTION
ØBrakeandclutchfluidwill
damagepaintedsurfaces.Ifbrake
orclutchfluiddoesgetona
paintedsurface,washitoffwith
waterimmediately.
ØUsingnonspecifiedbrakeand
clutchfluids(page10-4)will
damagethesystems.Mixing
differentfluidswillalsodamage
them.
Ifthebrake/clutchsystem
frequentlyrequiresnewfluid,
consultanAuthorizedMazda
Dealer.
