If’handsetsuperlocking’isactivated,the
volumetricalarmisalsoarmed(asensor
insidethepassengercompartment
monitorstheinteriorspaceandactivates
thealarmifanintrusionintothe
passengercompartmentisdetected).
Thevolumetricsensorwillenteraself-check
modeeachtimeyouturnthestarterswitch
off.Itwillremainactivefor60seconds,or
until:

Presstoreleasethekey,whichcanthen
beusedasaconventionalkeytooperate
thestarterswitch,gloveboxanddoor
locks.

Thedriver’sdoorisopenedandclosed.
Thevehicleislockedwiththehandsetor
key.
NOTE:Ifthesensorfailsitsself-checkfive
timesconsecutively,onlythe’perimetric’
elementsofthesecuritysystemwillbeactive
(doors,bonnetandtailgate).Anyattemptto
’superlock’withthehandsetwillresultin
’ALARMFAULT’beingdisplayedonthe
messagecentreandamislockoccurring(see
’Mislock’).Seekqualifiedassistancetorectify
thefault.

’unlock’position(towardsthefrontofthe
vehicle).

Oncethesecuritysystemisarmed,thecentral
lockingsystemlocksallthedoorsandthe
tailgate,theperimetricalarm(protectingthe
doors,bonnetandtailgate)isarmed,andthe
engineisimmobilised.
