Onpetrolmodelsonly:pressthe’RES’switch
oncemomentarilytocutoffcruisecontrol;
thisallowsthevehicletoslowdowngradually.
Usethebrakepedaltoslowthevehicleuntil
therequiredspeedhasbeenreached,then
pressthe’SET+’switchtoestablishanew
cruisingspeed(rememberthatcruisecontrol
willnotoperateatspeedsbelow
Ifrequired,pressthe’RES’switchagainto
re-engagecruisecontrolatthepreviously-set
speed.

memorywillbecancelledwheneitherthe
cruisecontrolmasterswitchorthestarter

automaticallyifyourroadspeedfallstoless
than75percentofthesetspeed(thiscould
occurwhentowinguphill).
Toincreasethesetcruisingspeed
Pressandholdthe’SET+’switch;thevehicle
willaccelerateautomatically.Releasethe
switchassoonasthedesiredspeedhasbeen
reached.
Alternatively,thesetspeedcanbeincreased
incrementallyby’tapping’the’SET+’switch.
Foreachfivetapsthespeedwillincreaseby5
mph(8km/h).
Disengagingcruisecontrol
Cruisecontrolwillautomaticallydisengageif
thebrake(orclutch)pedalsarepressed,or
whenthegearleverismovedintoneutral
(gearselectorleverposition’N’forautomatic
gearbox).
