Ifitisnecessarytorecoverthevehicleby
towingonallfourwheels,selecttransfer
neutralasfollows:

Withthestarterkeyremoved,insertafuse
(5ampsorgreater)infuseposition11in
therighthandseatfusebox.Insertkey
andturnthestarterswitchon;thetransfer
boxwillautomaticallyselectneutral(wait
untilthemessagecentredisplays
’TRANSFERNEUTRAL’),thenturnthe
starterswitchoff.

Turnthestarterswitchtoposition’I’to
unlockthesteeringandleaveinthis
positionwhilethevehicleisbeingtowed.
Fronttowingeye
UseONLYwhenthevehicleistobetowed
withALLfourwheelsontheground.(see
’Towingthevehicleonfour-wheels’).
Tore-engageHIGHorLOWrangeafter
towing,turnthestarterswitchoff,remove
thefusefromposition11,thenturnthe
starterswitchonandpresstherange
changeswitch(manualgearbox)-the
transferboxwillengagetheHIGHorLOW
gearrange.
Reartowingeye
UseONLYwhentowinganothervehicle.
WARNING
Iftransferneutralhasbeenselected,itis
essentialtoremovefuse11andpressthe
transfer’Hi/Lo’switch(tore-selecthighor
lowrange)beforeleavingthevehicle
stationary.
NOTE:If,duetoanaccidentorelectrical
fault,itisconsideredunsafetoturnthestarter
switch,thebatterymustbedisconnected.
