damage.Treatpaintchipsandscratcheswith
touch-uppainttopreventcorrosion,and
occasionallyprotectthepaintsurfacewithan
applicationofcarpolish.

washing-upliquid!
Duringwintermonthswhensalthasbeen
usedontheroads,useahosetowashthe
undersideofthevehicle.Payparticular
attentiontowheelarchesandpanelseams,
andtoremovingaccumulationsofmud.
NOTE:DONOTapplycarpolishtothe
mouldedbumpers-polishwillbecome
ingrainedinthetexturedfinishofthe
mouldings.
Similarly,afteroff-roaddrivingorwadingin
muddyorsaltwaterconditions,useahoseto
washunderbodycomponentsandother
exposedpartsofthevehicle.
Glass&mirrors
Cleantherearscreenwithasoftclothtoavoid
damagingtheheaterelements.DONOT
scrapetheglassoruseanabrasivecleaning
fluid.
Whenusingahose,donotdirectthejetinto
theheaterairintakeducts,orthroughthe
wheeltrimaperturesontothebrake
components,oratthedoor,windowor
sunroofseals,wherewaterpressurecould
penetratetheseals.
Mirrorglassisparticularlysusceptibleto
damage;DONOTuseabrasivecleaning
compoundsormetalscrapers.
WARNING
Somehighpressurecleaningsystemsare
sufficientlypowerfultopenetratedoorand
windowsealsanddamagerubbingstrips
andlockingmechanisms.Neveraimthe
waterjetdirectlyatheaterairintakes,body
andsunroofseals,oratanycomponents
thatmighteasilybedamaged.
