OPENING THE HOOD

Insidethevehicle,pullthehood
releasehandlelocatedunderthe
instrumentpanel.
2.
Gotothefrontofthevehicleandreleasetheauxiliarylatchthatis
locatedunderthefrontofthehood.
3.
Liftthehoodandsupportitwiththestrutintheyellow-colored
retainer;ensuringitissecure.
Theenginecoolingfanmayoperateforseveralminutesafterthe
engineisturnedoff.Donotstartmaintenanceworkuntilthefan
hasstoppedoperating.
