Followedbythreesecondswiththesafetybeltwarninglightoff.
Onceagain,thesafetybeltwarninglightwillflashfourtimesper
secondforthreeseconds.

Afterreceivingconfirmation,thedeactivation/activationprocedureis
complete.
Safety belt extension assembly
Ifthesafetybeltistooshortwhenfullyextended,thereisa20cm(8
inch)safetybeltextensionassemblythatcanbeadded(partnumber
611C22).
Thisassemblycanbeobtainedfromyourdealeratnocost.
Useonlyextensionsmanufacturedbythesamesupplierasthesafety
belt.Manufactureridentificationislocatedattheendofthewebbingon
thelabel.Also,usethesafetybeltextensiononlyifthesafetybeltistoo
shortforyouwhenfullyextended.
Donotuseextensionstochangethefitoftheshoulderbelt
acrossthetorso.
Safety belt maintenance
Inspectthesafetybeltsystemsperiodicallytomakesuretheywork
properlyandarenotdamaged.Inspectthesafetybeltstomakesure
therearenonicks,tearsorcuts.Replaceifnecessary.Allsafetybelt
assemblies,includingretractors,buckles,frontseatbeltbuckle
assemblies,bucklesupportassemblies(slidebar-ifequipped),shoulder
beltheightadjusters(ifequipped),shoulderbeltguideonseatback(if
equipped),childsafetyseatLATCHandtetheranchors,andattaching
hardware,shouldbeinspectedafteracollision.FordMotorCompany
