Checking the engine oil level with the
control system
ț ADD 1.5 QTS. TO
REACH MAX. OIL LEVEL!
When checking the oil level the vehicle
must
(Canada: 1.5 LITERS)
ț ADD 2.0 QTS.
ț

be parked on level ground
TO REACH MAX. OIL LEVEL!
be at normal operating temperature
(Canada: 2.0 LITERS)
After about three seconds this mes-
sage is displayed:
have been stationary for at least five
minutes with the engine turned off
i
ENGINE OIL LEVEL
MEASURING NOW!
If you want to interrupt the checking
procedure, press the k or j
button on the multifunction steering
wheel.
To check the engine oil level via the multi-
function display, do the following:
One of the following messages will sub-
sequently appear in the indicator:

Turn the SmartKey in the starter switch
to position 2 or press the KEYLESS-GO
start/stop button* twice.
ț ENGINE OIL LEVEL
OK

If necessary, add engine oil.
For adding engine oil see (୴ page 277).
The standard display (୴ page 139) should
appear in the multifunction display.

sage is seen in the multifunction dis-
