CAUTION
Whenthetirepressuremonitoring

systemwarninglightislit,oneor
moreofyourtiresissignificantly
under-inflated.Youshouldstopand
checkyourtiresassoonaspossible,
andinflatethemtotheproper
pressureasindicatedonthevehicle's
tireinformationplacard.Drivingon
asignificantlyunder-inflatedtire
causesthetiretooverheatandcan
leadtotirefailure.Under-inflation
alsoreducesfuelefficiencyandtire
treadlife,andmayaffectthe
vehicle'shandlingandstopping
ability.Eachtire,includingthespare,
shouldbecheckedmonthlywhen
coldandsettotherecommended
inflationpressureasspecifiedinthe
vehicleplacardandowner'smanual.
Thiswarninglightilluminatesforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.
Thereafter,thewarninglightilluminates
whentirepressureistoolowortoohigh
inoneormoretires,andflasheswhen
thereisasystemmalfunction.

flashes,orthetirepressurewarning
beepsoundisheard,itisdangerousto
drivethevehicleathighspeeds,or
performsuddenmaneuveringor
braking.Vehicledrivabilitycould
worsenandresultinanaccident.
Whenthetirepressuremonitoring
systemwarninglightilluminatesor
flashes,orthetirepressurewarning
beepsoundisheard,decreasevehicle
speedimmediatelyandavoidsudden
maneuveringandbraking.Havethe
systemandtirescheckedorperform
theappropriaterepairassoonas
possible.
